Excellent Salsa Bar and GREAT Food & Service!
My family was on a ski vacation for the first time in Park City, UT and El Chubasco was recommended to us by one of the locals. The restaurant is in a small strip mall and doesn't have a large dining room, but it's cozy and familiar and after skiing / snowboarding, I don't think there is anything more comforting than a great mexican meal. El Chubasco has a fabulous salsa bar with more freshly made salsas than I've ever seen at any restaurant and some of the fruit salsas pair wonderfully with the fish tacos. I had a great enchilada and tostada platter that came with beans and rice. We also ordered a chile relleno that we shared amongst four people. Needless to say we were all clamouring for the last bite of that! Excellent. The prices were reasonable and the service was great. A couple of things about the management: 1) our daughter thought her bean and cheese burrito had too much cheese and they offered to remake it for her not only once but twice! (They wanted her to be happy and love it and she did!), 2) my nephew accidentally left his coat in the restaurant and when we called the next day, they had it and offered to UPS it straight to my sister-in-laws house. We thought El Chubasco was great, treated us like locals, and when (not if...) we head back to Park City, UT then El Chubasco will be on our must visit list.
