Shocked by the Attitude!
Recently my wife spent $225.00 for three separate flower arrangements from Planted Earth. The first two arrangements were beautiful and met her expectations, however the third arrangement was 1/3 the size of the other two. I called and spoke with a very nice lady who expressed concern and asked that I return the arrangement and she would correct it.
Upon arriving at Planted Earth I was directed back to a room where the flowers are arranged. An older lady asked what I wanted and I stated that I had called earlier and was returning to have the flowers rearranged and asked if she was the lady that I had spoke with on the phone. To my surprise she yelled, ?No, but you GOT the flowers you paid for?! I was so shocked and surprised by her harsh attitude that I calmly asked for the arrangement back and left the store. Later after speaking with several friends I found out that the older lady was the owner of the store.
My wife is handicapped with MS and struggles with normal activities. Despite her own personal struggles she thought that ordering flowers for some of her friends would help brighten their days. This experience proved to us that the owners of Planted Earth are more concerned with making a sell then in providing exceptional service to a customer. A customer, who now won?t return!
Word of mouth is more influential when used to dissuade people against using services than when used to persuade them. Quality must be satisfactory for products and services to attract more people.
