excellent wound care and rehab
After a disappointing stay at another area nursing home, we had dad placed at Wasatch Valley Rehab to try and make sure dad would get healed up and get the rehab that he needed. We were reluctant have dad stay at another nursing home since dad didn't get the rehab that he needed at the previous nursing home. Also, dad ended up with a real bad wound on his hip from the previous nursing home. Regardless, we were pleasantly surprised with dad'sstay at Wasatch Valley Rehab. They healed up the wound on dad's hip and he got all the rehab he could handle. We were very pleased with the care and attention he got there. We were especially fond of Shawn,one of the head nurses. He worked closely dad getting the wound on his hip healed. He was great. Dad enjoyed his stay and especially enjoyed working with the rehab staff. They were very kind to him and he looked forward to his rehab sessions. He even went back for a few weeks after he got out on an outpatient basis.
